The Real Thing.
Commercial productions require precision, structure and clear objectives. But the way I approach them remains rooted in documentary thinking.
I don’t believe in over-staging reality when you can just capture the real thing.
Strong commercial imagery can still feel honest — grounded in real light, real movement and real environments.
Whether it’s an automotive project, corporate video or product photography, the goal is to create visuals that are impactful but refined, and aligned with the brand — without losing authenticity.
Because even in commercial work, a real image is still the most powerful.
Solo project or big crew?

Being experienced working in remote & challenging environments has many advantages.
It drives you to be as efficient as possible whilst being creative working with what you have, especially on solo productions.
That's why I feel most comfortable working in small teams or even solo. That has many advantages:
- Less friction
- More speed & flexibility
- Great "edit-awareness"
- Faster delivery & reduced cost

The equipment.
For video, I put a lot of trust in my DJI Ronin 4D, a camera that is incredibly durable, delivers breathtaking footage and is flexible just like me. A brilliant camera that can be used on solo expeditions all the way up to the biggest productions.
For photography projects Sony Alpha camera's are used with a wide variety of quality lenses. (G-master lenses, Sigma, Tamaron, ...)
And last but not least, I use DJI drones. Having flown pretty much all of them from the first Phantom (2013) all the way to the latest and greatest, they have become second nature.
