Documentary
No challenge to big.

Every environment is different.
Documentary is where my heart is at. Telling stories in any environment, even if it's a big challenge to get there or it's delicate to capture the essence of whats happening.
Those stories are real. And as a viewer you can tell immediately that this is not something you can just reproduce.
Documenting weeks of cycling through Africa, running into smoking buildings or observing volcanic activity at freezing temperatures.
There is no challenge to big.
Not just a DP.

Depending on the context, production can range from an end to end solo production, a carefully assembled team, or even stepping into a specific role within a larger team.
This flexibility allows me to be able to adapt to the realities of each environment .
Additional experiences like guiding cycling adventures in Africa allow me to be comfortable stepping into roles outside of the creative aspect.
And having worked closely with emergency services has trained me to be invisible in tense situations whilst still capturing the necessary footage without neglecting anyones privacy.

The equipment.
For video, I put a lot of trust in my DJI Ronin 4D, a camera that is incredibly durable and delivers breathtaking footage. A brilliant camera that can be used on solo expeditions all the way up to the biggest productions.
For photography projects Sony Alpha camera's are used with a wide variety of quality lenses. (G-master lenses, Sigma, Tamaron, ...)
And last but not least, I use DJI drones. Having flown pretty much all of them from the first Phantom (2013) all the way to the latest and greatest, they have become second nature.
